The Shop
Brethyn Blaenau was opened in 2012 when owner Rhiannon - who
had been running knitting and sewing classes in Blaenau
Ffestiniog for a few years - saw a need for a wool shop in the
town.
The Oriel Moelwyn gallery and framing shop was bought, the
building was refurbished and the framing business moved from
the shop into a workshop to the rear of the premises.
We stock James C Brett, Stylecraft and Sirdar yarns, together with a wide range of DMC products, cross stitch kits,
knitting and crochet patterns,
books, accessories and haberdashery items. We also carry a small selection of locally sourced Welsh wool.
